Our client is a leading Advisory and Investment firm that specialises within the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) sphere, working with a range of clients to structure complex debt vehicles whilst also providing strategic investment opportunities. Due to an ever-increasing deal flow they are now looking to recruit a mathematically minded individual to work closely with their Directors to support trading and derivative structuring. As well as excellent earning potential, the successful candidate will have the ability to fast track their career towards Director level, as demonstrated by other members of the team.
Whilst being heavily involved in complex quantitative analysis, this role has the advantage of also being client facing, where you will work with a range of senior stakeholders and be involved in on-going business development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Derivatives pricing and the assessment of hedging and restructuring opportunities
• Evaluation of corporate finance strategies and development of complex models
• Act as a key point of contact for client senior management in the planning and execution stages of corporate finance strategies
• Involvement in pitching process to prospective clients and associated research
The successful candidate will be a highly numerical, qualified/soon-to-be qualified accountant looking to make their first move from a leading professional services firm. No previous Corporate Finance experience is required, however you will have a mathematical, science or engineering degree from a top university. Furthermore, you will have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to build relationships and interact at a senior level.
