Detailed Job Information: Internal Auditor

Our client, a market-leader in its sector, is looking to recruit an internal auditor to be based at its prestigious head office in Yorkshire. Over recent years this organisation has been going from strength to strength, offering the successful candidate excellent future prospects of progression throughout the business.

Reporting into senior management and supporting the Board’s understanding of the risks within the group, this is a highly operational role where you will work to improve internal processes and controls throughout the business. As well as planning and undertaking ad hoc assignments you will lead individual reviews on various areas of the company and implement new procedures to improve efficiency and enhance profit. Furthermore you will have responsibility for the mentoring and coaching of more junior staff.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant/Internal Auditor coming either straight from the profession or from industry. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels whilst working in a dynamic and challenging environment.
