Detailed Job Information: SAP Project Manager
Our client, a blue chip manufacturing business with offices in the North West, is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to complete a SAP implementation for the business unit.
It is expected that the role is proactive, but not technically hands-on, and will be required to understand the future direction of the SAP technical solution.
In the role it is essential to have a good understanding of the industry sector whilst maintaining knowledge about hardware, software, development tools and languages to ensure the solution remains stable, supported and up to date from a technical perspective.
With a strong project delivery background, you will need to have worked across the full end-to-end lifecycle and have been involved in a major SAP implementation. Skills should include: Man Management, budget management and a project methodology (Prince2, PMP, SSADM). As the Project Manager, you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to influence at the highest level.
This is a pivotal role for the future direction of the business as a successful implementation will then be used as a model to role out across the group.
