Detailed Job Information: Retail Analyst

Our client, a well-known UK retailer, is currently looking for a Retail Analyst to generate management information and analyse forecast data that enables the effective management of sales and the tracking of volumes and pricing within the business.

The role will involve in depth data analysis requiring a commercial interpretation in the form of regular reporting and recommendations 
 
Working proactively with the Buying and Merchandising teams you will advise on lines, provide trend analysis and develop forecasts to ensure the correct product / visual mix remains in each store.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to present information concisely and persuade key decision makers.  Strong analytical capabilities across Microsoft Access is a must and additional software package experience would be beneficial
 
This role would suit an individual with retail experience in buying or merchandising where the commercial interpretation of analysis was key
