Detailed Job Information: Supply Chain Planning Supervisor
Our client is one of the UK’s leading organisations in their specialised market. Due to continual expansion they are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planning Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and forecasting stock levels
- Working with the NPI team to ensure transfer of new products into supply
- Creating and maintaining the supplier database
- Visiting all UK and foreign suppliers as well as exhibitions
- Resolving invoices
- Monitoring and adjusting safety stock levels
- Re-sourcing to achieve competitive prices
The role reports through to the purchasing manager and has some line management responsibility. Due to this it is essential you have had experience supervising or managing a team. Ideally you will come from a planning background with at least a HND/BTEC education. You will be a confident person who can communicate well at all levels, with good forecasting and analytical skills.
